1 Peter 4:8 – Love makes us willing to forgive
Most important of all, love each other deeply,
because love makes you willing to forgive many sins.

Lord, please help me to apply this to myself, as well as others. Help me to forgive myself for my wrong doings, and to forgive anyone I believe has done wrong against me, the same way that You forgive us. You told us to love others as we love ourselves. Give us a clear and honest self-love. A love that sees ourselves as You do, neither puffed up with pride, or harsh and judgmental. Help us to see ourselves as flawed and broken, yet still Your precious and beloved children. Only then can we truly love others.
