So sorry — the Heart in Hiding preorder is cancelled!

I am sorry to announce that due to personal circumstances, writer’s block (yes, it does exist!) and God’s leading, the preorder for Heart in Hiding has been cancelled. I didn’t want to rush the story and shortchange readers.

If you had a preorder, you’ll receive an email from Amazon letting you know, and you won’t have been charged for the book.

I hope I can complete the story later this year.

Blessings,

All five of my Chapel Cove Romances in one lovely set!

I’ve just released a new boxed set containing all five of my previously-published Chapel Cove Romances!

Reunion, second chances, marriage of convenience, later-in-life love, disabled hero, opposites attract in this coastal Oregon town where life begins at 40!

The set has released at full price, but will probably have a reduced price promo in the new year. In the meantime, if you have Kindle Unlimited, I’d love for your to borrow and read the set.

If you haven’t read then all yet, I hope you enjoy these sweet, clean, and faith-filled romances celebrating family, friends, and faith!

Hoping your Christmas is blessed!

Nativity scene, with Bible verse John 1:14, "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:14

If you can, stop for a minute, breathe, and let the joy and wonder of God’s ultimate gift to us sink deep into your heart. The King of Heaven chose to become flesh, to be born as a human baby to humble parents, to be fully human and experience all that we do, so that thirty-three years later He could die to give us all new life and a forever Light that far outshines the Bethlehem star.

As we give Him thanks for His gift, we each surrender more of our heart to Him, entrust more of our life to Him, open more of our mind to Him, and know His peace.

I hope your Christmas is blessed, peaceful, healthy, and safe,

PS – yes, that image isn’t true to the Biblical or historical record, the wise men probably didn’t arrive till Jesus was a toddler! But it’s a beautiful picture so I decided to use it anyway. Please forgive the inaccuracy.

Remembering Marion

For those who knew and loved wonderful Christian author Marion Ueckermann, her memorial service was earlier today (10 am South African time). It’s available to watch on YouTube – clicking on the photo will take you to the link.

Marion loved life – as shown by the cute avatar she added to her Facebook profile while waiting in an emergency tent COVID clinic for a hospital bed to become available! She wouldn’t want us to cry for her too long.

But I admit I’m not quite at the “days of laughter” stage yet. After a couple of weeks of busy denial, I feel sad and flat and cry at almost anything. Watching that tragic disabled kitten video that popped up in my YouTube sidebar was definitely a mistake! But it will pass.

Hugs, wherever you are in the grieving process and whatever you are grieving. God holds us safe in His loving arms.

Thank You, Jesus!

Thanking Jesus for how He suffered for us.

But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5

Hoping your Palm Sunday is blessed

As we remember the King, who less than a week later chose to die, so that we can live!

They took palm branches & went out to meet Him, shouting,
“Hosanna!”
“Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Blessed is the King of Israel!”
John 12:13

Happy New Year!

With prayers that your 2021 is richly blessed!

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;

great is your faithfulness.
